Dance with me!
Between performances, I've had the honor of teaching students between the ages of 7 and 18 across the country. Including SHUFFLES NYC in Manhattan; Groton Hill Music School in Groton, MA; the NY Dance Centre in Warwick, NY; as well as COPA, and Encore Performing Arts in Southern Utah. I also frequently teach private lessons.
In my classes
students will work on strengthening their technique and movement quality. They’ll dive into the groove of the music, pushing themselves to truly embody the rhythm and bring choreography to life. I think of all choreography as a vessel for storytelling and urge my students to approach their dancing from the perspective of an actor first. I'm passionate about creating a positive and fun working environment while still holding my students to a professional, high standard.
